Beautiful Jewellery chosen
by Jacky Newcomb 'The Angel Lady'
Humans have adorned their bodies with jewellery since ancient times. Brooches, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pins have traditionally had a spiritual meaning. Some pieces were worn for protection, others represented status or achievements and others were gifts of love.
Bodily adornments have been made from a wide variety of materials including precious metals, beads, stones and even shells. Today we honour these ancient practices and still wear jewellery for the same reasons we did in the past.
Everyone has a guardian angel. Connecting with your guardian angel is as simple as asking that your angel draws close to you but many want to wear a piece of jewellery which reminds you of this spiritual relationship.
- Images of angels remind us that we are not alone
- Feather symbols represent the white feathers the angels leave us as gifts from heaven
- Jewellery with wings reminds us of the loving embrace they give us when we feel sad or alone
Sometimes jewellery is embellished with crystals and coloured stones. Each crystal has its own meaning but even the colours have significance; clear stones are used as spiritual growth; purple is for psychic protection, pink is for love; green brings abundance; blue is for healing and black is for grounding. Yellow stones represent joy and happiness, and orange is said to help with chakra balancing. Brown stones are often reflective of the energy which bring us into alignment with body and soul!
Having worked with angels for many years, I felt guided to create and source jewellery which represented the symbolism I wanted to bring into my own life. Why not find jewellery which represents your own spiritual side?
