I take great comfort in the absolute knowledge that when we die we are met by our loved ones.
Let me recount something that happened a few weeks ago .
A lady came for a card reading. as soon as she sat down , I was aware of a Spirit gentleman standing by her side . He shared the same features. Just as I was thinking, "that must be her father" , I heard clairaudiantly "That's my girl!"
I told the woman that he was there and gave her several messages, including how he died. I then continued with the card reading (Wow , did she get value from that sitting!)
At the end of the reading , I asked when her father passed? as he had come through so clearly.
This is what she told me:
" You are correct , my father was a strong character who had been ill for many years with emphysema. He was hospitalised and died three months ago. Whilst he was in hospital , my mother was suddenly taken ill, and was taken to the same hospital on the Friday . It was such a shock , and completely unexpected, she died on the following Tuesday.
The family decided not to tell Dad , as he was so ill himself.
On the Wednesday morning , he asked the nurses to phone the family and ask them to go to visit him that afternoon.
When we arrived he said , "I know that my wife has died."
We were stunned. Had the nurses told him?
He replied " She died at 1.30 pm yesterday afternoon. She came and sat on my bed at 3pm . She explained what had happened and that she had come to tell me herself , because of the decision the family had made to keep it from me.
She told me that she had been met by her parents and sister, all of whom had died several years ago, and that she would be waiting for me when my time came".
Her father died six weeks later.
The family are happy in the knowledge that they were given first hand that their parents were together and happy in the after life.
